How can I stop Time Capsule doing a full backup?

Hi guys

I had to restore my work from a Time Capsule after having a new hard drive fitted. Now Time Machine has started to do a full ... and very, very slow backup!

Is there any way I can get out of this given that it has been at it 2 days already and has only backed up 32.78GB of 74.89GB?

Please can you helpful folks who have the answer reply in words of one syllable ... I'm no techie wizz kid (no sort of any kid really).
