I just bought my i phone 4 from a friend but now his contacts and mine are on my contacts list, how do I remove them? thank you

Did your friend not erase all data and settings from the iPhone or restore the iPhone with iTunes as a new iPhone before selling it to you?

If not, you need to restore the iPhone with iTunes on your computer as a new iPhone or not from the backup.

Wow, your friend must truly trust you to have given you his phone without wiping it first. Do you have his bank account info too? :-)

Just be aware that you will lose any apps that he purchased using his Apple ID.
