My iMessage isn't working!?

I haven't been able to send and receive messages since Friday, it's now Sunday. This often happens but it usually sorts itself out. I've done everything- restarted my iPod, reset my iPod, reset the app, updated it, everything. My WiFi is fine, the person who I'm messaging- their WiFi is fine, it's turned on, but nothings working! What do I do?
