Apr 28, 2013 2:53 PM in response to Steve and Gemby Alfred DeRose,I have no problems with mine. so yours could be faulty. You're certain there is no problem with the cards? This is a card used in a camera? The iPad looks for standard camera folder structure.

Apr 28, 2013 3:04 PM in response to Alfred DeRoseby Steve and Gem,Definitely no problem with the cards. They are used on 2 different Nikon cameras. All standard stuff. Perfect photos which have been downloaded in the past from the camera to a laptop in the usual way. Took the cards out, inserted them to the reader, got nothing at all. Think I'll visit the store! Thanks for trying ... Unless anyone else out there has any other ideas?

Apr 28, 2013 3:14 PM in response to Steve and Gemby Texas Mac Man,Are the photo files .jpg or .raw?
Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Cheers, Tom
What size SD card? What type of SD card - SD, SDHC or SDXC?
Also try this - Plug the SD card into the slot before connecting the cable to the iPad.

Apr 28, 2013 3:22 PM in response to Texas Mac Manby Steve and Gem,Regular jpeg files. I don't use RAW or combined jpeg and RAW. I'll try your advice on the reset...regular high capacity 8gb SD card.
