tv shows that are available are showing not available when I try to download

I get emails telling me that tv shows from my season pass are available for download, but when I go to download them to my computer I get the message that there isn't anything that needs to be downloaded from that account. Awhile back I tried to access my iTunes account from my iPad; I don't think that should have effected my ability to download to my computer but I'm not sure. Also, my computer operating system is out of date so that might be the problem. I'm puzzled because I don't get an error message. Thanks for any help!
