I work in a High School and I am looking for a new library system that runs on the mac and is not windows based, can anyone recommend anything?

Well that is a database system. I guess tailored to libraries (What is it called. The Dewy Decimal system).
A google search would be the best place to start. And then maybe a library librarian forum.
That's a very broad question and difficult to answer without knowing more about you requirements.

There are FileMaker Pro solutions, but FMP is expensive.
