Find my Friends app question:

For "Find my Friends", Probably a rhetorical question, but does anyone know if my device is turned off (or out of battery charge), can my followers know my location?

Out of battery - No.

Turned off - not sure.

It needs device be open and with Internet connection. Cellular or Wi-Fi. Cellular coverage also helps to be more accurate.
