Hello, when i tpye a work for example "Test" and i press backspace it only will remove one letter untill i press it again for example it will remove the last letter and look like this "Tes" How would i fix this?/

Hi Phil, might try CMD + z keys for Undo.
Backspace should repeat by holding the key.
Go to: Apple > System Preferences > Keyboard and in the Keyboard tab check and adjust both the Key Repeat and the Delay Until Repeat.
To notice a big difference, you may need to set your Key Repeat (Faster) and your Delay Until Repeat (Shorter) than my settings above.
This has not worked its hard to explain
my little brother pressed random keys on my keyboard and as i said when i hold down backspace it would normally delete everything till i let go but now it only deletes one letter untill i let go and press it again.
One more thing to try...
Safe Boot , (holding Shift key down at bootup), use Disk Utility from there to Repair Permissions, test if things work OK in Safe Mode.
Then move these files to the Desktop for now...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Preferences/com.apple.finder.plist
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Preferences/com.apple.systempreferences.plist
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Preferences/com.apple.desktop.plist
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Preferences/com.apple.recentitems.plist
Reboot & test.
PS. Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.
