Useless search results for 2nd gen ipod touch

Hello

I have a 2nd generation ipod touch running ios 4.2.1 and understand that newer apps (and newer versions) won't run on my device. However, these apps that won't install on my system should not show up on the search results in my apple store, should they?

Can I filter the search results to bring only results that really matter? Many results for the search are useless and I want to avoid having them on my screen and wasting my time.

As you found out they do not filter with a search on yur iPod.

This webpage, unfortunately, did not help me.

The links seem to be bad or the search engine did not work for me.

As you mentioned it is not possible to filter the search results on the apple store, my best fit solution was the https://sites.google.com/site/iossearch/ site, that I've found on the first link on your answer.

The only Windows 7 machine I have access to is Windows 7 Ultimate, 64-bit, and I tested the webpage in Internet Explorer 10.0.9200.16540, and it works fine for me. Are you still experiencing problems if you try to view the page again?
