Hi, I have an iphone 5 running the latest ios 6.1 and a MacBook Air running OSX 10.8. I have tried connecting via bluetooth several times but havent been succesful. I pair the device and when i click connect a message appears that says "MacBook Air not suported" Why is this? shouldn't Apple products be complimentary with each other? any ideas on how to connect?

You can only do wifi sync, but can't use bluetooth not a feature of the iphone.

I have tried everything and dont know why itunes doesnt pick up the device. My settings are perfect and i have all the requeriments.
So after you have check sync this iphone over wifi, did you try to quit itunes and restart your phone?

Yes. I tried restarting the iphone. Both my mac and iphone are connected to wifi, but on itunes i cant see the device. I can only see it when is plugged via USB

Yes. i did it when iphone was plugged in vias USB

Yes, i did everything the link you sent me earlier said. I also checked the router settings. I dont have any anti virus.
I'm a bit late coming in here but you're iphone will only sync with your computer via wifi if your phone is plugged into an electric socket.
I have the same issue. I was told during the sales blurb, that you could start writting a message on the iPhone and finish it off on the MacBook Air. Please advise.
