I currently have setup a local Exchange client for the MacBook Air. Is there a way to turn off Exchange client cache mode off?
I know how to delete the cache and setup a new profile.

Because a double negative would indicate you want to turn it on. Also, are you using Outlook for Mac 2011? Your post does not indicate which client but I'm assuming that's the one you're using.
