WiFi cuts out when I connect MiniDisplay (over Thunderbolt).

So my WiFi connection seems to drop whenever I plug in my projector. Here is the setup:

MacBook Pro > MiniDisplay Port to DVI adapter > DVI cable > Projector.

Any thoughts? This is a brand new 15" MacBook Pro with Retina display, fully updated firmware and OSX.

Hello ThomAnthony,

I would reccomend that you check out this article. It specifies that it's for Snow Leopard and Lion, but the troubleshooting is still applicable in Mountian Lion

There's a section near the bottom titled "Symptom: The network connection drops unexpectedly." That may have some pertinent information for you. If that doesn't solve your issue then you may want to contact Apple support following the link below.
