Can I upgrade my Hard Drive at an Apple Store

Hi,

I realized my Macbook Pro's 120 GB SSD drive is almost full. Considering that I'm not really a techy person, can I just send my computer to a local Apple Store to get it upgraded? If possible, do I need to pay a replacement cost? Can my warrenty cover it?

Thanks

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.3)

At the Apple Store it's not possible to upgrade the hard drive. The Apple Store only repairs Macs. However, if there's an Apple Authorized Reseller near you, you should ask there if they can upgrade the hard drive.

On a MacBook Pro you can upgrade the hard drive and the memory without voiding the warranty, so if you want, you can do it yourself, buying the hard drive in the Internet. There are a lot of pages that sell hard drives like OWC > http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/hard-drives/2.5-Notebook/
