Generally, there are three ways.
1. Install plugin in Chrome like unblock Youku. Sometimes it is not working
2. Using Proxy
3. Using VPN, get connected to one China VPN server to get Chinese IP address. Highly recommend you to join FlyVPN. It is the only one VPN service I find offering real China VPN server.
It depends on the carrier you are using. I believe there is a youku app you can download to view certain videos. But China might limit certain videos and certain accounts from being accessed outside of china.
Use a proxy software, find a good one and download on your phone. That should do the trick.

go got he setting --> wifi --> click the arrow that's on the right side of the name of wifi ur using -->DHCP --> auto --> put http://yo.uku.im/proxy.pac in URL and it should work
There are many easy tricks to watch Youku outside China. You can find many ways to unblock Youku easily using Chrome browser, Proxy server or VPN service. Honestly I recommend using VPN service, it is more reliable, secured and easier to manage.
The users of iphone and ipad are going to increase day by day and I assume after reading many article and meet with people that the Chinese people who are living outside the china are struggling to watch Youku from usa, Canada, UAE and other region but due to geo-restriction they fail to access. However come to the point, if you are willing to access youku with your iphone just go to Go to settings - General - VPN - Add VPN Configuration – PPTP or L2tp so if you have vpn than add credential here and unblock youku outside china.
To unblock Youku outside china on your iPhone I normally use VPN. I just download a VPN app and then open a VPN app with my own credential and select a china base VPN server and then connect to Youku. Although there is another solution that I recently found in YouTube but I feel comfort with VPN account because it is easy to use.
