I have a Samsung HWF 450 Soundbar for my TV - unfortunately my iPod Classic does not appear to work when using the USB connection - is there a way around this? Many thanks.

The USB connection from an iPod is intended as a data transfer connection, not an audio signal connection. The full dock connector can output an audio signal, but when it goes to a USB plug, that is just data (for use when syncing to a computer). If this Samsung device is smart enough to treat the iPod as an external USB hard drive with audio files, and the Samsung device can play those files (instead of the iPod doing the playing), then it might work.
