iTunes 11.0.2.26 for Windows

iTunes 11.0.2.26 for Windows

I have iTunes 11.0.2.26 installed on my Windows laptop.

It now displays as larger than the screen, with no scroll bars accessible except for maybe a half width vertical bar when I toggle the minimize/restore button at the top right.

The application is just about usable, all music is visible, and I can import and play o.k., but I cannot resize it to less than over full screen.

I have removed and re-downloaded iTunes from the Apple iTunes website but the problem is still there - I'm sure it used to display o.k.

Anyone have any ideas?

It is a bug feature of the current version. You should be able to drag the top edge around a bit to the point where you can find edges to resize, but it may well open up again too large in future. Hopefully the next build will fix it.

Thanks turingtest2, that certainly gets me out of the hole but it's still a bit of a mess.

I suppose I should really go for a totally new Mac!

It's a problem with the recent builds of iTunes. Apple need to fix iTunes, a new computer won't help. Of course if you're just trying to convince yourself that it's time you bought a new computer... 😉
