Q: I can't complete the Apple Developer registration...

It's stuck on the Review Agreement page. If I tick the check box and click 'Continue', the page just reloads.

OSX 10.8.3

Safari 6.0.4

Java 7

Any solutions? (thanks)

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.3), Safari 6.0.4, JAva 7

I called them as well and got a refund. They said that the engineers rolled out a fix about five days ago to get the submission button working for anyone who is setting up a new Apple ID as part of the registration. But, old Apple IDs are still not working all of the time. So, I got my money back and just registered again with a fresh Apple ID. We'll see if it works once I get my activiation code.

I jus tried to sign up to be a developer and I am getting the same issue. It happens at any point where I need to sign up to be an Apple developer. The point where I try to sign up for the $99 program, or even the regular program or even to contact Apple Developer Support. Apple Developer Support's phone number is 1-800-633-2152 and noone's answering the phone. If anyone has a better way of contacting Apple Developer support and so they can fix it for it, I would appreciate it for me.

Christopher, Apple is devoting the vast majority of resources to WWDD this week.

That is why things are mucked up right now.

If you contact them via email, they will eventually get back to you.

Same here.... I´m completely disappointed about the bad Apple service. At the moment I´m so upset that I installed C# at my Macbook Pro and are willed to say byebye Apple. I´m so frustrated about the last months, the hardware issues, problems at the App Store... I need to go for a walk

I'll stick a +1 on this too. Old AppleID had it for years, stuck in the endless loop of clicking agree, clicking confirm and being redirected back to the form.

I've emailed a support request, not sure if I was clear enough on the issue though. Will give is a few days and see what happens.

I don't buy the too busy becuase of WWDC thing though, it was like this for me a couple of months ago I think.

Have you tried creating a new Apple ID and using that?

There is a problem with using old Apple IDs.

Iv'e not tried a new ID, because I have an ID that I want to use. There shouldn't be a problem with old ones, its a bug that needs fixing.

Surely its not in Apple's interested to have a fragmented user base.

    "fragmented user base"?

What does that have to do with anything?

    Try a new Apple ID.

No. I don't want to setup a new AppleID. I use one account per provider as it keeps my accounts neat and tidy. I'm sure Apple would prefer to know everything about me under one account and I'm happy for them to do so. If I, and others, had seperate accounts for all our undertakings, the user base would be highly frangmented.

I'm not replying to enter into a lengthy debate and take this rather specific, and clearly common problem, off-topic, so unless you have a constructive reply on how we can all resolve this issue we're posting about, I suggest we leave this tangent here.

Something has happened that now allows me to agree to the T&Cs and access the developer area.

No idea what that something is/was though, so can't post a resoution. The only thing I did do was email Apple support and tell them my problem.

Same.  I get stuck on the review apple ID page.  Wont allow me to submit changes.  Pathetic.

I called the Apple support as I had the same problem where I cannot get past the renew agreement page. The answer was the site is not available and nothing can be done. I have had the account for a long time.
