Connecting to Google Calendar

My calendar was working just fine up until an hour ago. At first, I had received an "error 502". So I decide to delete the google calendar from iCal and try to re-sync it. That didn't work because now I can't even get iCal to find my google calendar! I keep getting an error about "a secure connection couldn't be established". This is BS!!!! I don't know what is going on between Google and Apple, but yall need to suck it up and fix this! It's annoying. I need my calendar on iCal. And apparently, this issue has been carrying on for quite some time with both Google and Yahoo. Is Apple just sitting around and opting to do absolutely nothing the fix the issue? Is Apple is attempting to communicate with Google to fix this issue?
