How long can FaceTime run for? Like overnight?

I have experimented with it and it only lasted for 3 hours and 25 minutes. I did it with my friend and neither of us hung up.

it’s as long as you don’t hang up. i’ve had one for 32 hours

facetime calls can run for as long as you want, but the longer they run, the more your phone heats up and slows down, which could cause the call to fail due to poor stability. the longest one i've had was 18 hours

That's not right either one of you lost connection or something because no way 2 hours is so little. Me and my friend are on the call right now as a matter of fact lol and we've been talking for 11 hours 🙂

I don’t think there’s any limit, I’ve stayed on a facetime call for 27 hours, it doesn’t cut off because there’s a limit, your phone most likely overheated

I suppose in theory FaceTime would run all the time if you didn't end the call or the other party didn't end the call - as long as you don't lose your WiFi connection that is.

I've had a 27 hour FaceTime call once with my ex. He eventually ended the call because he had to go somewhere.

It just depends. My boyfriends phone is broken. Our calls will just drop. We’ve had a 9-10 hour call and then we’ve had a 3-4 hour call and both of us will be asleep. It will end if your phone starts to get hot also.

That's not true . I'm on ft right now and we are on 9 hours and 30 min. So one of you guys hung up .

Ft can run all night 😂 Sometimes the person accidentally hangs up . FaceTime usually stops around 12-13 hours .

I’ve had a 19 hour call before so idk :/ and we hung up that’s the only reason why it ended

you wake up with it still on unless your connection fails or somebody ends it.

I have done it overnight with my friend and it lasted 10 hours until we both decided to end it. So it would probably last for a long time if you had good WiFi and signal.
