my ipod wont sync

it was syncing all my music when my friend came in and dissconnected my ipod because we were going to leave the house. while i was out almost 7/8 of my music which was there BEFORE the sync is now grey and wont play when i select it on my ipod. also when i connect it, my computer doesnt pick up on it and the ipod merely charges. now also all of my music is un-playable from my ipod but is fine on my computer.


what do i do???

iPod touch, iOS 6.1.3, 4th generation

- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

- Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

- Then restore from backup. See:
