Does having a iCloud account interfere with my email address

It doesn't interfere with your actual email address. Both can live together properly, and if you don't want to use your iCloud email address, you can stop using it if you need

No it does NOT interfere as their just separate emails working their way, their backed up on different servers, so it shouldn't be a problem 😀
