Cannot checkout from Cards app, help

I have used the CARDS app for over a year (quite frequently) but I cannot seem to checkout to purchase a card...first time this has happened so frustratingly

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

I would recomend checking your AppleID settings. There is an FAQ for the Cards app you might find useful that I have linked below. Here's an excerpt from from that article that may be useful:



"What should I do if I am having trouble ordering a card?
If you are having trouble placing your order, the payment method associated with your Apple ID may not be supported. Cards currently supports payment via Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and JCB only. You can change your payment method on your iOS device by tapping Settings > Store > Apple ID, or in your Apple ID account settings in iTunes > iTunes Store on your computer. You may also want to check to ensure that your Apple ID password has not expired."
