AIRPORT EXTREME 5TH X HUAWEI MT880

I'm facing some problems with my airport extreme 5th gen. I have a Huawei MT880 (ADSL) modem as bridge connected to the airport in PPPoE mode. I get a connection but the IP (authentication between modem and airport) is frequently lost. Please, let me know how I can solve this problem as I had a linksys WRT54 connected to this modem without any problem. I have a PC (Win XP) connected to the airport through a cable and I have 1 IPAD and 1 notebook (Win XP) connected through wi-fi. tks a lot.
