iMessage

I keep trying to message all my friends but it won't show up ?. When i exit it on my Mac book Air it says i'm offline\ email wrong so i go into seetings on imessage (preferences) and i go to my account and it say inactive ! 😟 it says signing in but it's been doing that for hours.

Can i reset it ?
