Which college textbooks are available to use on iBooks or purchased in the iBookstore?

My debate on purchasing an ipad mini or not relies on the amount of textbooks i can use for college with iBooks and the iBookstore. What i am wondering is which textbooks are compatible with iBooks and if it is worth it to buy an ipad mini?
