I am using a netgear router for my wi-fi at home, and would like to use my airport express as a booster to extend the range of my wi-fi at home. What must I do to set up my airport express? Do I need to have any specific settings for my netgear router? Thank you!
Unfortunately, the Apple AirPort Express is not compatible with a Netgear product if you are trying to extend the signal wirelessly.
If you can connect the Express using a wired Ethernet connection to the Netgear, the Express can be configured to provide more wireless signal coverage that way.

this helps a lot. I will try to connect it via enthernet cable, and if that doesn't work I will have to let go of it and get a Netgear compatible booster.
