how to enable syslog (Air Port Utility 6.2)
How can I configure syslog on a Time Capsule with AirPort Utility 6.2?
(Or is there another way to see the logs of the device?)

AFAIK there is no access to the advanced log section of any apple router with any v6 utility.. apple removed it.
Go back to using a real tool, 5.6.
It is easy enough to load onto Mountain Lion.
Several methods are listed if you google.. here is mine.. it has an advantage.. the software to unpackage is free.
How to load 5.6 into ML.
1. Download 5.6 for Lion.
http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1482
Click to open the dmg but do not attempt to install the pkg.. it won't work anyway.
2. Download and install unpkg.
Run unpkg on the desktop.. it is very simple.. drag the AirPortUtility56.pkg file over to unpkg.. and it will create a new directory of the same name on the desktop.. drill down.. applications utilities .. there lo and behold is Airport utility 5.6 .. drag it to your main utilities directory or just run it from current location.
You cannot uninstall 6.1 (now 6.2 if you updated) so don't try.. and you cannot or should not run them both at the same time.. so just ignore the toyland version.. the plastic hammer.. and start using 5.6.. a real tool.

So there is really no "official" way to see the logs, except of this hack with the old utility? 😟😮 The openness of Mac OS X seems to go away...
Anyway, thanks for your replay.
It worked, syslog is now writing to my MacBook, I can see the logs of the Time Capsule in Console.app
Always 2 steps forward.. but from our point of view.. 3 back. Pretty interface.. less actually ability!!
