problems with Nike +

I've got ipod nano 7th gen and there are some problems with Nike plus. During a run today I pressed the pause button and walked a little. Then I resumed workout and continued running. At home I realized that while pausing it stopped the time but continued to count the distance. So, it says that my pace was 2:40 sometimes, ha. How can I solve it or it's ok?
