HD Repair

I made HD verification and received a message: need disk repair, make reinitialization with command + R keys pressed until Apple logo appear so procced disk repair; but a padlock appear instead. I could not make repair. How can I do?


MacBook Pro 2.53 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo / OS X 10.8.3

iPhone 4, iOS 5.1.1

Hello sagui,


I sounds like you've got a Firmware Password set up on your computer. If you remember this password just type it in and hit return and that will get you into the Recovery HD. For more information about Firmaware Passwords, see the article below:

If you can not remember or do not know the Firmware Password the your best bet would be to locate the nearest Apple Authorized Service Provider using https://locate.apple.com
