I am trying to use Face Time with my friend. I can hear her but she can't hear me. How come? Is there a microphone I don't know about that I should turn on? Thank you.

i have that same problem. I am using my apple computer and the other person is using an ipad. It works for a while and then it mutes me on my end. I can see and hear everything, but they can't hear me . They can only see me. Not sure how to solve this problem. Can anyone help?
I can hear the other person on face time but they can't hear me how come?
