Q: I have left my ipad2 in a cold car. It is snowing today. Will my ipad2 be okay and will it damage anything???

I have left my ipad2 in my mom's car. Today is snowing and cold. will my ipad2 be fine? and will it be damaged>????

iPad 2, iOS 6.1.3, It is 30 degrees and maybe below

    See the non operating temperature limits. As long as you let the iPad warm up to room temperature on its own, I think you should be OK. Don't plug it in to recharge until it has warmed up sufficiently - room temperature.

     

    • Operating ambient temperature: 32° to 95° F (0° to 35° C)
    • Nonoperating temperature: -4° to 113° F (-20° to 45° C)
    • Relative humidity: 5% to 95% noncondensing
