I sync my iPhone 4S with Yahoo calendar. Since last softeware update (6.1.3) They won't sync. What happened?

Both my wife (iPhone 3G) and I(iphone 4s) use Yahoo calendars and sync the iphones so that they are showing events on both uiphones and PC yahoo calendar. ever since updating to 6.1.3 both phones do not sync with yahoo calendar (the Email do sync correctly)

In Apple store using a random iphone we could not establish sync with yahoo calendar. Yahoo says they do not apply the sync and it is Apple issue.

Anyone with an answer?

I am having this problem too on both my ipad 3 - 6.1.2 and iphone 4s 6.1.3. I tried deleting the the yahoo account and reinstalling it. Now I cant even get the calendars to show up in the calendar app.

joramw and mus4utoo - thank you.

likewise, i began experiencing the same inability to sync my iphone 3 (6.1.3) with my yahoo calendar near 01may2013; however, my issues did not begin after an apple ios upgrade. ive been running my iphone 3 on 6.1.3 for a few weeks now without issue - so my non-sync'ing problems appears to have started from out of the blue.

as the yahoo support website suggested, i deleted and re-added my iphone yahoo profile (several times) to no avail, though like mus4utoo, i too lost my ability to even add/create calendar entries locally (but this was corrected by activating the iphone icloud option). a conversation with yahoo informed me that it would be $99.99 for them to review the issue - i respectfully declined.

yes, i'd like to let your apple support contact know that others are experiencing the same non-syncing yahoo calendar issue.

I am having the same problem...sounds like a broken record. I have the iphone 4S and my calendar is now blank because per many recommendations on many forums I deleted my Yahoo! account several times and re-added it. Email and Contacts seem to be fine, but Calendar is blank. I thought it might be because on my iphone there is only 1 "Calendar". When I'm on Yahoo online, I use a personal calendar that has my name in the description. I don't use the generic "Calendar" online. So I started editing a few events and changed them to "Calendar". I really thought that would solve the problem, but it did not. The only way I can view/select calendar options on the iphone is when I add iCloud Calendar, but I don't use that calendar.

This is absolutely ridiculous! Right now, the only way I can see my calendar is to go to Safari and pull up my Yahoo Calendar. That is not going to work.

I don't know why we keep having this problem. I either need to get rid of all 6 iPhones in my family and try something new (because I'm tired of this happening EVERY SINGLE TIME there is an update to the iOS) OR quit Yahoo! Both seem like a good option at this point.

I have found a workaround thats working for me until they get this yahoo calendar thing solved. I logged into my yahoo account on my pc and opened up the calendar. There is a down arrow next to the name of the yahoo calendar you wish to have on you iDevice. Click the down arrow and select share.Go to "sharing and permissions" and your email address and click save. You will then receive an email with two links. Open the email on your iDevice and and hold down on the second link and select copy. This is the link that says add to outlook. Then on your iDevice go to settings-mail-add account-other-add subscribed calendar. Hold down on the server field and tap paste. Then tap next. In the Description box type the name of your calendar and then tap save. Leave all the other fields alone. You can repeat this for all the yahoo calendars you wish to view on your iDevice. Open your iDevice calendar app, tap the calendar tab and your calendar(s) should now appear under Subscribed. This will allow your view your yahoo calendar(s) on your iDevice. Now if you wish to add appointments to your yahoo calendar open safari and go to m.yahoo.com tap the three bars in the upper left corner of the mobile web page and tap sign in. Use your yahoo id and password to sign in. After signing in tap the three bars in the upper left hand corner again and scroll down and tap more. Tap Calendar. At the bottom of the screen tap the box with the arrow in it and select at to home screen. Name it if you like and then tap add. Now every time you want add an appointment to any of your yahoo calendars you can open the link on your home screen. It will remember your log in. If you wish to view all of your calendars, including the yahoo calendars open the native calendar app. This workaround requires the use of two methods one for entry one for viewing, but at least you can access all of your calendars. You can also view your yahoo calendar(s) from the home page link but I dont like the layout on the yahoo mobile page so I just use that for entry. Hope this helps until they figure this one out.

I sync my iPhone 4S with Yahoo calendar. Since last softeware update (6.1.3) They won't sync. What happened?
