Can somebody please tell me how to recover accidentally deleted messages from a I-phone 5?

Messages (iMessage and carrier SMS or MMS pictures and videos) are contained in the backup so if you have a backup that has the messages restore your phone from that backup otherwise they are gone. To see how to restore from a backup read http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766
