I found an article that should help you delete photos off of your iOS device:
iCloud: How to delete photos from Photo Stream
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5125
While it says Photo Stream, it would apply to your Camera Roll as well, and the same general steps would be followed. I pasted the pertinent information below for you:
On an iOS device using iOS 6 or later:
- Open the Photos app.
- Tap the Photo Stream tab.
- Tap My Photo Stream.
- Tap Edit.
- Tap one or more photos. Checkmarks denote photos you have selected.
- Tap Delete, and then tap Delete Selected Photos.
On an iOS device using iOS 5.1 - 5.1.1:
- Open the Photos app, and tap Photo Stream. Do either of the following:
- Tap the share icon, and then tap one or more photos. Checkmarks denote photos you have selected. Tap Delete, and then tap Delete Selected Photos.
- Tap a photo, and then tap the trash can icon to delete the photo.
Note that you can delete individual photos this way, or whole albums (except the Camera Roll).
Cheers,
David
