Q: My iPod touch won't update?

I've been trying to get my iPod to update it;s iOS, but when I try to restore my data, it says "The iPod cannot be restored at this time because the iPod software update server could not be contacted or is temporarily unavailable."

Please help me, I have no other music devices to use.

Try:
- Powering off and then back on your router.
- iTunes for Windows: iTunes cannot contact the iPhone, iPad, or iPod software update server
- Change the DNS to either Google's or Open DNS servers
Public DNS — Google Developers
OpenDNS IP Addresses
- Try on another computer/network
- Wait if it is an Apple problem
