Settings- general -international- region format and pick your poison (country). For me it changes date format.

May 3, 2013 7:14 AM in response to cajainvivekby fromsouth,As soon as I did change my format to India - it changed all my dates to correct dd/mm/yy format. So lets put it in prospective. If your phone has correct format and your computer's outlook has the same format with date before months and it still happens to you - there is a problem with sync process. Do you use icloud or cable to sync with outlook? Did you notice if there is any common source for the dates that are being shifted (don't look past 12 of the month).

Currently I have changed the keyboard/date format to USA on both th iphone and my laptop.
This has resolved the issue fo time being.
I am using a cable to sync the data. How do i use icloud to sync with the outlook?

iCloud: Set up iCloud on your devices - Support - Apple
There some system requirements, but works way better then cable, as long as set up correctly.
