Q: hi, is there any record log for action 'Erase All Content and Settings' and 'Erase all setting' in iphone 3G ?

hi, just woulld like to know how to retrieve 'Erase All content and settings' & 'Erase all setting' record log for checking. thanks.

    Um... no. The action wipes the phone and reverts it to an 'as new' state. Even if it did log the action, the log would be wiped along with everything else on the phone.

    how about the system log. I guess OS may keep log for those operations. just like restore factory setting in a notebook and could be retrieve by technical person. does somebody know how to ? thanks.

    No. It is a complete wipe of the device. Any logs that would be kept are gone.

     

    Why would you want to look at it anyway? If it was successful, the phone will be back at the setup screen. If it was not... well, then you'll probably know that.
