Q: updated my I Photo now can't see pics

I had to reinstll my I Photo from disc and now I am told I cannot see my photos that were on my computer before update. Help!!!!

iPad, iOS 5.1.1

Try rebuilding your iPhoto Library. Apple provides instructions on this in Rebuilding the iPhoto Library
