Nov 5, 2013 8:25 PM in response to Diavonexby cyan31,thanks for sharing, however, for step 9. I don't think we have NONE for option now. I am not sure since when. I despise apple for doing this. Now I am sharing my ID with some one, and I can not create a new ID beacuse I do not want to put my credit card. I tried mading up a fake credit card (of course I will never use it to pay), won't work.

Nov 13, 2013 6:16 PM in response to wubbyby burice0,I don't like any of these answers. I tell my mother, "I can't download facebook or any app on your phone until you give me your credit card info" and she doesnt even have one anymore. Mom says "I thought it was free?" I say, "it is but they just need it. They wont charge you" She says "Why do they need it if they wont charge you?" And i can't explain it. Thats why this is bull. apple be more user friendly.

Jan 8, 2014 1:16 AM in response to wubbyby Adrian9999,I don't want to verify my credit card info for free apps and I don't see why I should. So it looks like I need one id for free apps and another for paid for apps.
I am only in this situation cos my employer provides me with an iPhone. For personal use I use Android which never requires credit card info for free apps. So much easier.
