Q: Trouble calling and messaging

Hey i just got my iPod and the facetime is set up. But my problem is calling people. I cant get the option to call or even send messages.. What do i do in order to make calls?

iPod touch, iOS 6.1.3

    Hi muzicman,

     

    You cannot make phone calls with an iPod Touch....you can do FaceTime and Messages, and you can send and receive mail, but you cannot make phone calls....

     

    For Messages, you must have a Wifi connection, and you can only send messages to other IOS or Mac devices that also have Messages turned on.
