Compare to other official mail:

discover@new.itunes.com

itunes@new.itunes.com

iBookstore@new.itunes.com

All liknks in mail from AppStore@new.itunes.com leads to Apple and the iTunes App Store.

I cannot see what you can see. You cannot compare addresses; one address style does not authenticate another. And the link directly above leads to an e-mail address; not Apple's style.

As mende 1 says ... phishing.

All links in the latest mail I recieved 2014-05-09 from AppStore@new.itunes.com leads to Apple and the iTunes App Store!

Who on earth would gain anything by faking a perfectly designed newsletter with authentic links to the latest iTunes App Store campaigs running, some evil game developer maybe, hoping for purchaes en masse?

And who would be able to fake the sender IP:
