I was updating my firmware, the update that fixes problems with batteries over 1000 loads.
The loading bar on the apple screen gets half way, then it shuts down. I turn the computer on again and it just repeats.
Please help.

I've tried resetting the SMC, it has still not fixed the problem.
I'm just bumping this thread.
Usually I wouldn't but this is really urgent - I have an assignment due next week and need my laptop.
Just giving an update incase somebody else might have this problem too.
I took it to my local Mac repair shop and it turns out there was actually a problem with my hard drive, and the fact it decided to happen right after my firmware update was just a coincidence.
