Changing iTunes download language

Hi! My computer recently crashed and I lost all my files. I am trying to download iTunes once again, however I am an American living in Germany. The language keeps switching back to German. I have tried all the tips that I have found so far. Does anyone have any other advice? Once I get the program downloaded and installed, I keep getting an error message. It's in German, so I have no idea what it says. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!!!
