transferring music from multiple sources?

My daughter's dad downloaded a lot of music from his computer onto her ipod. Can I add songs to her ipod using my itunes account without erasing the music already on there?

Howdy, shellies!

The following article should help you add music to your daughter's iPod without erasing the existing music:

Using iPhone, iPad, or iPod with multiple computers

By default, your device is set to "Automatically sync songs…," sometimes called automatic mode. To transfer music from multiple computers, your device must be set to "Manually manage music," sometimes referred to as manual mode.

The steps in the article will walk you through the process of switching the iPod to 'manual mode.'
