A couple of things that you can try to get iTunes updated on your system:


iTunes 11 for Windows: Update iTunes

http://support.apple.com/kb/PH12370


Check for iTunes updates

Manually check for new versions of iTunes: Choose Help > Check for Updates.



Another option would be to download the iTunes installer.

If neither of these options gets iTunes updated correctly, you might try following the article that corresponds to your version of Windows (one article is for Windows XP, the other for Windows Vista and Windows 7):
