I still have my old Install DVD for iWork 06, and continue to use it, especially Pages and Numbers, with the reguar updates.

I have an iMac27, but want to also purchase a new Macbook Pro.  Will I be able to install and use the older version of iWork, or will I have to buy it again?

I'd apprecaite some advice on this please. Thank you.  Keith

It probably will work but today Pages 09 and Numbers 09 are so cheap and so much better than iWork 06

iWork '06 does work on Macs running Moutain Lion or earlier, but you would need to update them to x.0.2 versions via Software Update.

But, I agree with fruhulda that the iWork '09 apps are much improve & you can buy just the apps you want from the Mac App Store.
