Twitter help!

When i try to put in my Twitter information to "Mail, Contacts, and Calenders" section of system preferences, it says "Unable to verify account name or password". I already have my facebook and yahoo informatin in but i dont know why it wont let me put in my twitter! Also when I downloaded the twitter app off of the mac app store it wouldnt let me log into that either! Have i set up a security feature up against my twitter account or something, because i dont know :$. If anybody can help me that would be great 🙂
