I already sent feedback to Apple on this.
But I have noticed that links in the "More Like This" section isn't that useful as they are not completely and always related to the subject at hand. Don't you think it can be indexed a little better?
I know it might be pointless even writing this, but I was wondering if it was just me or if anyone else has been running into this problem.

Agreed...I rarely use them as so often the hits are a couple years old. And in some cases I know the topic was covered very recently.
If you look at the hits for this post, what in the world do hey have to do with your topic?

"SIM=Failure/Invalid SIM" huh? That's what shows up. Messed up programming.
Anyway, I think you should also send feedback so that they fix this eventually. The more people that send feedback, the more it will come to their attention.

Feedback, yes. And the hosts know there are a lot of things about Jive that need fixing, problem is, the software is created outside of Apple so the company doesn't control it.
Those came up because if you look in the threads there are posts telling the Op to look at the more like this links. So it's matching on the phrase more like this

My point is that I do think they should index it better, don't you?
I find it annoying, Frank, when the hits are not chronological. It probably is basing he hits on a form of word matching, but it can be frustrating.
Not defending, just explaing why those are there.
I realize that...it just gets annoying to search for something and not be able to find it easily.

and explaining why that was in the more like this box. Not all searches in any database turn up what we would like but it is a It is a valid hit for his question.
As I wrote I was not defending the search here in fact one of my first posts way back when was asking about the lack of decent search. What I was told then and what I tell posters now is to use Google and restrict the search to ASC. You'll get much better results.
