I am having a problem uploading to Youtube. A box comes up saying error and check my internet connections. Please what doI do? Thanks

The way I upload to YouTube is to use SHARE/EXPORT MOVIE in the size I want (usually 1920x1080). I save it to my Desktop. Then I go to YouTube in Safari and use the upload feature in YouTube.
I use Firefox instead of Safari. I was going to download to my desktop, but it said it would take 3 hours which seemed unusally long for an 8 minute video.

Right-click on one of your Event clips. Choose Reveal in Finder. In the Finder, right-click on the clip and choose OPEN WITH.../QUICKTIME PLAYER. In QuickTime Player, type the letter i while holding down the Command Key. This will open up the QuickTime Inspector. Tell us the dimensions of your clip and everything that is listed next to the word FORMAT:
Sorry, I'm already seeing double. I have no idea how to do this. What I don't understand is a few months ago I was able to upload from imovie to youtube without a problem.
If you don't have a right-click mouse, then control-click will do the same thing. Or if you have a trackpad, then a two-finger click will do the same thing.
