From other posts on this forum, it is my understanding that SoftBank does not unlock their phones.

Isn't it about time Apple gave Son Shacho a telling off and at least forced SB to unlock out-of-contract phones?
SB has monopolized this market long enough and even the Japanese Diet was talking about obligatory unlocking for all new phones.
